Ryder Cup 2006

Byrom was contracted by Ryder Cup Limited, the rights holders for The 2006 Ryder Cup Matches, to provide a turnkey ticketing solution for the event.

Byrom was responsible for the following areas of operation:

1. Development of a ticketing strategy with consultation on pricing and distribution methods
2. Production of customer facing website for online sales in three languages
3. Production of mailing material and application form for postal applications
4. Random ballot of applications due to oversubscription
5. Notification of results and payment processing for applicants
6. Redevelopment of website to incorporate “real time” sales tool for unsold practice day tickets
7. Design and sourcing of security technology for tickets
8. Selection of printing and fulfillment company
9. Integration of fulfillment into secure client delivery through DHL a sponsor company
10. Onsite support and inventory management on behalf of Ryder Cup Limited
