FIFA appointed Byrom to set up the FIFA Ticketing Office (the “FTO”) as the sales agent and its service provider in relation to the distribution of Tickets and the provision of certain Ticketing services, to all the FIFA Ticketing Constituent Groups.

In addition to the provision of generic services associated with Ticketing, Byrom provided additional supplementary services, including:

  • Development and implementation of the Seat Allocation & Seat Assignment Protocols for the Event
  • Development of the contractual documents related to the sale of tickets
  • Terms and Conditions
  • Data Protection Policies
  • Sales Regulations
  • Ticketing Plan / Strategy
  • Ticketing Print & Fulfillment Plan
  • Technology development in order to support the requirements of the FIFA Ticketing Constituent Groups
  • TIMS (Ticket Inventory Management System) provided for the management and distribution of Ticket Quota and Attendee Management.
  • SVT (Stadium Visualization Tool) provided the ability for a customer to view the stadium, identify where their seats are located and to assign their customers within specific seats.
  • The 2006 FIFA World Cup™ Germany consisted of 64 Matches played in 12 different venues over a 4 week period. The FTO was responsible for managing FIFA’s total ticket inventory of approximately 1 million tickets.
