38th Ryder Cup Matches (2010 Ryder Cup Matches Celtic Manor, Wales)
It was Magic Monday for Europe as the Team captained by the inspirational Colin Montogomerie won The 38th Ryder Cup, after a memorable final day at Celtic Manor Golf Resort. Europe won 14 ½ points to USA's 13 ½.
Byrom plc, operating as Ryder Cup Travel Services, provided accommodation and logistical support for Ryder Cup Ltd, the European Team, PGA of Great Britain and Ireland, Boards of Directors of the European Tour and VIP guests. Byrom plc, for the event in Newport, Wales, packaged for commercial sale to The General Public and Tour Operators over 2,800 Ryder Cup tickets. These included accommodation, ground transport, branded gift and invitation to the celebration evening "Welcome to Wales". In addition Byrom plc operated the Park and Rides, Newport Train Station Coach Transfers to Celtic Manor Resort as well as the Perry Golf Ship transfers.
