Byrom has a dedicated and highly experienced group of accommodation, hospitality, ticketing, travel and logistics experts across all areas of the business. We believe them to be the most experienced team of professionals in the industry in terms of delivering global sports event solutions.

Byrom plc is managed by three Executive Directors who sit on the company’s Board of Directors and who share responsibility for the management and executive oversight of the company and its subsidiaries:

Group Chairman and Directors

team1Denis Robson | Byrom Group Chairman (non-executive)

Denis was appointed as a director of Byrom plc in December 1997, and acts as non-executive Chairman.  Denis is a chartered accountant (FCA) and has previously been the senior partner of Cooper Lancaster Brewers (now CLB Coopers) and chairman of Thwaites Brewery.

team2Enrique Byrom | Director of Byrom plc & MATCH Services AG

Enrique is responsible for the executive oversight of the company’s Accommodation operations for FIFA Events as well as group marketing and financial management. Enrique has more than 28 years of experience in event management and marketing.  Enrique also sits on the board of Directors of MATCH Hospitality AG.

team3Jaime Byrom | Director of Byrom plc & Executive Chairman of MATCH Services AG

Jaime is responsible for group strategy and operations, executive oversight of the company’s Ticketing operations for FIFA World Cups™ and other sporting events, and for determining the contractual framework for the group’s operations. Jaime has more than 28 years of experience in event management and logistics.  Jaime is also Executive Chairman of MATCH Hospitality AG.

team4John Parker | Director of Byrom plc & MATCH Services AG

John is responsible for corporate sales, new business development, and executive oversight of the company’s Ryder Cup and GTS Events operations. John has been involved with sport and major events for more than 20 years. John also sits on the board of Directors of MATCH Hospitality AG.

Other key staff

team5Michael Kelly | Executive Director

Responsible for overall project management, planning, budgeting, financial reporting and procurement. Mike leads on the co-ordination of delivery of MATCH Services projects for the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups™.

team6Robyn Byrom | Event Director

Manages all accommodation operations of Byrom and provides critical input in all areas of Accommodation strategy, client delivery and IT applications.

team7Ivy Byrom | Event Director

Directs all aspects of the Host Country accommodation operations and develops close working relationships with the LOC. Co-ordinates the establishment and day-to-day management of in country MATCH accommodation offices.

team8Enric Codina | Information Technology Director

Leads the IT Applications Division of Byrom and is responsible for the overall delivery of ticketing, accommodation and hospitality IT solutions including application development, support maintenance and hosting services.

team9Richard Hildred | Finance Director

Overall management of Group Finance for Byrom. Co-ordination of the Finance Department; budget control, forecasting and compliance with financial regulations for all project operations.
